The property is ideally situated for developing a special events venue and/or luxury wine-tourism project.
One of the few wine-growing Châteaux in the Rhône Valley, this estate comprises a XVIIth century chateau of 700m² with outbuildings of approximately 1200m² (8 gites, orangerie, magnanerie, swimming pool) in an unspoilt, undisturbed setting. The beautiful Napoleon III style facade of the château overlooks a picturesque park adorned with magnificent two hundred year old plane trees.Approached along an entrance driveway of 600m of plane trees, the estate grounds are surrounded by a 1,5 km stone wall.
The Magnanerie
The old silkworm house stands in the shade of century-old plane trees, close to the château. It has 220m² of living space and houses three apartments, one of 100m² and two of 50m².
Behind the Magnanerie, there is a large terrace with covered swimming pool.
The Art Gallery
This sumptuous building most likely dates from the 19th century. Although the building now houses the winery, it was originally an art gallery for exhibiting paintings.
The building is of great architectural and cultural interest. It is exceptionally rare to see an art gallery of this quality in the region.
The concrete vat room is housed, in a very original way, in the art gallery of the Château.A lean-to behind the art gallery houses the mobile wine vats (stainless steel and fibreglass), the harvest reception and the pressing area.
A barrel cellar of about 100m² allows the best vintages to be matured in barrels. Facing north, it is well protected from summer heat.
A more modern winery could be built under the 1500m² photovoltaic panel shed.
The 9,3 hectare vineyard comprises 7,4 ha in AOP Côtes du Rhône and 1,9 ha in AOP Grignan les Adhémar.
All of the vines are over 40 years old and are farmed using sustainable agricultural methods.
