Triangle Capital, M&A advisor for the Wine & Spirits industry, advises the owner of Château Beethoven (code name of the transaction), for the sale of his wine estate nearby Libourne. 

This is an investment opportunity in a privileged living environment or reception tool, while reconciling economic rationality. 

Beethoven has the following characteristics:

- A historic property in the appellation, with an authentic Maison de Maître and large outbuildings 

- An estate located on the right bank of the Bordeaux vineyards, accessible from :

  • the centre of Bordeaux, in about 40 minutes via the A10 (40 km)
  • Bordeaux Mérignac airport, in approx. 45 minutes (48 km including 30 km of motorway)
  • Libourne TGV station, in about 15 minutes (10 km)
  • the villages of Pomerol/Catusseau and Saint-Emilion in 15/20 minutes (17 km) 
- An estate located on a hillside environment A preserved and privileged environment, the buildings being in the centre of the estate, which includes vines and woods.

- One of the largest estates in its appellation allowing :
  • Economies of scale and consequently lower cost prices
  • Easier defence against cryptogamic diseases / vine parasites / frost, compared to a fragmented vineyard

- Quality distribution in France and abroad

- A profitable structure

- An appellation with a dynamic land market
  • which is seeing the arrival of ambitious investors wishing to raise the quality of their production and increase the reputation of their cru/appellation
  • which now allows the most qualitative labels to be sold at a value close to that of other recognised Libourne appellations, with a favourable "price per bottle/land" ratio

The purpose of this summary presentation is to detail the broad outlines of the transfer operation and to allow each potential candidate for acquisition to have an initial vision of the dossier. In the event of confirmation of interest and after signing a confidentiality undertaking, a complete file may be presented to enable each potential acquisition candidate to establish his or her conviction as to the value of the assets proposed for sale and his or her intention to submit an offer.

After receiving confirmation of interest, Triangle Capital will set up :
-the various meetings between the potential buyers and the seller, his advisors and his team;
- On-site visits;
-the exchange of information necessary to establish a conviction and to prepare a purchase offer, if applicable.
